Washington, D.C. is a very walkable and well-connected city, making it easy to explore without a car. The METRO system (subway and buses) links all major neighborhoods and attractions, while bike-share stations, scooters (Lime, Bird, etc), and rideshare (Uber, Lyft) services are widely available.

For those who prefer to drive, street parking and garages can be found throughout the city, though availability may vary depending on the neighborhood. Many visitors choose to combine walking, METRO, and rideshare for the most convenient experience while exploring the capital.
